See below for details about our ‘Healthy Me’ blend. The eucalyptus essential oil that is contained in ‘Healthy Me’ is also featured in the Express newspaper on-line edition today as having an effect on fighting viruses in rats. Yes I know we are not rats but apparently there are similarities!
This was a copy of the article from the today’s Express Newspaper online:
Viruses attack certain cells in your liver, respiratory system, or blood, causing a number of symptoms that range from mild to severe. Underlining the importance of keeping your immune system healthy, the current coronavirus outbreak sweeping across the globe has proven to be a deadly enemy to people with weakened immune systems. While it is not known how to protect yourself against the virus, emerging data once again highlights why a robust immune system is essential.
Evidence suggests you can supercharge your body’s defence network by including particular items in your diet.
One promising area of focus has been on the role essential oils play in supporting your immune system. One promising oil is eucalyptus oil. The essential oil, which is extracted from the leaf of the eucalyptus, may stimulate an immune system response, according to findings published in BMC Immunology.
Specifically, the researchers found that Eucalyptus oil could enhance the immune system’s phagocytic response to pathogens in a rat model.
Phagocytosis is a process where the immune system consumes and destroys foreign particles. Another review found that eucalyptus oil has antiviral and antimicrobial properties. These properties have historically been used to treat the common cold. The review suggested that inhaled or oral eucalyptus oil and its main component, 1,8-cineole, may safely fight viruses and respiratory problems such as bronchitis.
We have produced a new blend of essential oils that contains the following essential oils.
- Eucalyptus reduces fevers and fights viruses
- Tea Tree Oil inhibits bacteria and fights infections
- Cinnamon Bark cleans air and surfaces
You can put a few drops on a handkerchief or facial mask. You can use it in a wax warmer by filling up the saucer with water and putting a few drops of essential oil in it. You can use it in an electric diffuser and also put some drops of it on your pillow.
You can buy our diffusers with a variety of essential oil blends or just buy the oils on their own from the link above. We also supply blends to help you sleep and calm you down.
